Synopsis
The final book in The Magisterium series follows Callum Hunt into his fifth and last year at the magical academy, now carrying the truth that the soul within him belongs to the ancient Makar Maugris rather than to Constantine Madden as everyone previously assumed. Alongside his closest allies, Tamara Rajavi and Jasper deWinter, and with Aaron Stewart's presence still bound to his own mind, Call tries to find stable footing after years of suspicion and danger. That fragile calm breaks when Alex Strike, a former ally turned Devoured servant of chaos, returns backed by an army of elementals, attacks the Magisterium, and demands that a tower be built and that Call, Tamara, and Jasper be handed over to him. Facing this new threat, Call must gather what allies he can to stop Alex before his demands are met.
