Synopsis
The Green Man's Quarry is the sixth novel in the Green Man series and follows Daniel Mackmain as he is asked by a naiad and a dryad to investigate a large predatory cat prowling their woodland territory. The sightings echo the kind of big-cat stories that recur periodically in British tabloid media, even though no hard evidence of such animals has ever been found, and Dan has to determine whether this particular creature is an ordinary escaped animal or something rooted in the supernatural world he moves through. His investigation takes him from familiar woodland into Scotland, and he has to work quickly before social media attention turns the case into a public spectacle that could expose the hidden world he is trying to protect.
