Synopsis
The Last Dark brings the Thomas Covenant saga to its close as Covenant, Linden Avery, her son Jeremiah, and their allies among the Giants and Haruchai face the awakened Worm of the World's End alongside the culmination of Lord Foul's ancient design against the Land. With the Land's survival, and the integrity of time itself, hanging in the balance, Linden must weigh what she is willing to risk to save her son against the cost such a rescue might exact from everyone and everything she has come to love in the Land. Long-standing questions about the true nature of Lord Foul, the Creator, and Covenant's own role in the Land's fate move toward resolution as the company's separate struggles converge on a final reckoning.
