Resolution of a genuine cross-source discrepancy: Wikipedia's own pages disagree internally on the years of The Illearth War and The Power That Preserves (variously 1977/1978/1979); the database follows archive.org's independent catalog metadata and the SF Encyclopedia (both giving 1977 for all three First Chronicles volumes, Holt, Rinehart and Winston), treating the 1978/1979 variants as UK-edition dates conflated with the US first edition. Expanded = Gilden-Fire (1981 novella, chronologically set during The Illearth War's timeframe despite its later publication). The trilogy-level awards (BFA 1979, WFA 1978, Balrog 1979) are recorded against the first book of each trilogy with an explicit note that they were awarded to the trilogy collectively, not the single volume.
