Synopsis
White Gold Wielder concludes the Second Chronicles of Thomas Covenant as the company's ship becomes trapped in ice in the far north after their search for the One Tree, forcing Covenant, Linden Avery and their surviving companions into a punishing overland trek south toward Revelstone. There they must confront the Clave, the corrupt priesthood that has seized power over the ravaged Land and built its authority on the blood of its own people, even as Lord Foul's design for the Land's final ruin draws closer to completion. Covenant, still carrying the burden of the white gold ring and the violence the Sunbane has forced from him, must decide how far he is willing to go, and what he is willing to sacrifice, to give the Land any chance of survival.
