Synopsis
The Last Threshold closes R.A. Salvatore's Neverwinter Saga, opening as Drizzt Do'Urden, Dahlia Sin'felle, and Artemis Entreri rest in Neverwinter after their earlier struggle to destroy the corrupting sword Charon's Claw. Their calm is broken when Drizzt discovers that his panther companion Guenhwyvar has become trapped in the Shadowfell and can no longer be summoned to his side. Hoping to give his morally complicated companions a worthier purpose, Drizzt proposes helping to rebuild the ruined settlement of Port Llast, even as the group is stalked by a mysterious vampire and by factions with their own designs on Drizzt. Amid these threats, they learn Guenhwyvar's banishment was no accident, and set out to free her, a mission that will carry them into more dangerous territory than they expect.
