Synopsis
The concluding novel of the Licanius Trilogy opens with the Boundary that has long protected Andarra restored, even as dangerous Banes now range freely across the kingdom following the previous book's events. Davian must confront the remaining members of the Venerate, the immortal faction whose ambitions have driven much of the trilogy's conflict, while carrying the weight of his growing Augur abilities. Wirr faces renewed danger as old enemies within his own family rise against him, complicating his position as Northwarden. Caeden, meanwhile, must reckon with the consequences of a plan centuries in the making, one tied to his forgotten identity among the Venerate and to the powerful weapon Licanius. With the Darklands and the entity Shammaeloth looming as a final threat, the characters converge toward a confrontation that will decide the fate of Andarra.
