Synopsis
The Mask Falling is the fourth book in Samantha Shannon's The Bone Season series. The story follows dreamwalker Paige Mahoney, who has escaped Scion London and is hiding in Paris, where she collaborates with Arcturus Mesarthim -- her former captor -- while navigating the French underworld and working to strengthen her emerging rebellion. Cut off from the syndicate she led in London and operating in unfamiliar territory, Paige must rebuild contacts and resources abroad even as Scion's reach extends further across Europe, testing both her fledgling alliance with Arcturus and her ability to keep the rebellion she started alive from a city where she has no standing and few she can trust.
