Synopsis
The Song Rising is the third installment in Samantha Shannon's Bone Season series, published in 2017. Paige Mahoney, having claimed the position of Underqueen over London's clairvoyant underground, faces mounting pressure to stabilize her fractured criminal empire while secretly collaborating with a former adversary, as the authoritarian regime introduces a dangerous new technology designed to eliminate clairvoyants. With time running short before the technology can be deployed against her people, Paige must hold her uneasy coalition of syndicate factions together while deciding how far she can trust the allies she has gained from outside her own world, including some she once counted among her enemies.
