Synopsis
Sophie and Josh Newman have returned to San Francisco. Their trust in Nicholas Flamel has been shaken, Flamel has been wrong before, and their friend Scathach is missing. Unknown to the twins, Dr John Dee has gathered an enormous army of monstrous creatures with which he plans to fight Nicholas and Perenelle Flamel, and for his plan to work he must train a necromancer able to raise the Mother of the Gods from the dead. As the twins’ bond is tested as never before, the most disturbing question of all is whether they can still trust Nicholas Flamel.
