Synopsis
A few weeks after saving the Sky Kingdom's bees, fourth graders Kiya and Kinjal are summoned again by Princess Pakkhiraj, leader of the flying horses. This time she asks them to help the water pari, winged mermaids who live in Pari-desh in the Kingdom Beyond, whose water is being poisoned. The twins have to find the source of the problem and solve the mystery before the serpent king Sesha discovers them. Kiya's scientific knowledge and the twins' habit of treating everything in nature as connected guide their search, which takes them between their home in Parsippany, New Jersey, and the magical world they visit.
