Synopsis
The Queen of the Swords picks up after the events of The Knight of the Swords, with Corum and his companion Rhalina enjoying a period of relative peace at their coastal home, a calm shattered when a mysterious stranger, Jhary-a-Conel, washes ashore and reveals himself as a companion to the Eternal Champion across many of his incarnations. His arrival brings word that the Mabden are massing for renewed attacks on both Corum's home and Rhalina's kingdom, forcing Corum back into action. Seeking a way to turn the coming assault aside, Corum, Rhalina and Jhary journey toward the realm of Xiombarg, the second of the Sword Rulers and a Chaos Lord seeking vengeance of her own against Corum, in search of the legendary City of the Pyramids and whatever power it might offer against her.
