Synopsis

In the aftermath of the previous conflicts, the hostile Albae people begin actively threatening the kingdoms neighboring Girdlegard, spreading fear and instability across the land. False prophecies about divine avatars start to circulate among the population, complicating the political and religious landscape that Tungdil and his allies must navigate. As increasingly complex conspiracies unfold around him, Tungdil finds that the free dwarves he encountered earlier play a larger and more significant role in the events now taking shape. Balancing military threats from the Albae with the need to see through deception and false belief, Tungdil and his companions work to protect Girdlegard from dangers both external and hidden within its own borders.
