Synopsis
The Road Home is the seventh novel in the Guardians of the Flame series. Jason Cullinane, now a swordsman and baron in his own right as well as the son of Karl Cullinane, learns that his friend Mikyn, who took up his father's old Warrior identity, has gone on a killing spree that threatens to unravel the fragile order the settlement has built. Jason sets out to find and stop him before the guilds can use Mikyn's actions as justification for open war, but pursuing his old friend draws him into a dangerous bargain of his own, one that puts Jason's own position and safety at risk.
