Synopsis
Prince Trevyn of Isle is the son of Alan, who now rules Isle together with Hal. Spoiled and used to getting his way, Trevyn resents a mysterious boy named Gwern who has been taken into the family's castle, and he leaves home. He falls in love with a village girl, Meg, and angers Wael, a powerful warlock, by saving her and her people. Trevyn is then lured overseas, captured and enslaved. Old enemies of Isle take advantage of his absence, and he must escape and return home as its champion before Wael's forces overrun the kingdom and threaten Meg.
