Synopsis
The wizards of Discworld discover that Earth's history has been altered in a way that will prevent humanity from developing space travel before an extinction event, and must ensure Charles Darwin writes The Origin of Species rather than a creationist alternative, battling the Auditors of Reality along the way while the book's nonfiction sections explore evolution and the history of scientific ideas.
