Synopsis
The Thousandfold Thought brings the Prince of Nothing trilogy to its climax as the Holy War finally reaches Shimeh, the city that has been its object since the campaign's beginning. Kellhus's carefully built influence over the war's leaders and soldiers comes to bear fully as the long march culminates in the city's siege, while Drusas Achamian's investigations into apocalyptic prophecy and the hidden Consult reach a critical point of their own. The novel draws together the political, religious, and sorcerous threads developed across the trilogy, as the true stakes of Kellhus's rise and the ancient threat gathering in the shadows become increasingly clear to the characters caught between them.
