Synopsis
The Warrior Lives is the fifth novel in the Guardians of the Flame series. With Karl Cullinane presumed dead at the hands of the Slavers' Guild, his son Jason has inherited leadership of their settlement's cause. When slavers begin turning up dead, each killing marked with a note reading The Warrior Lives, rumors spread that Karl may have survived after all. Jason sets out with his companions, including the dragon Ellegon, to learn the truth and find his father if he is still alive, all while trying to keep the campaign against the slave trade moving forward in his father's likely absence.
