Synopsis

On Isle, an island where gods, ghosts and ancient beings share the land with mortals, Cuin is the heir of a regional lord and is expected to marry Ellid of Caer Eitha. When Ellid is kidnapped and then rescued by a mysterious stranger named Bevan, he reveals that he is the son of a former High King of Isle and a moon goddess. His arrival coincides with the rise of Pel, an ancient evil who raises armies of the dead with a golden cauldron called the Coradel Orre. Ellid is drawn to Bevan, and Cuin becomes his apprentice. Together the three set out to retrieve the cauldron and end Pel's hold on the kingdom, in a land that resembles pre-Roman Britain.
