Synopsis
The Wizard concludes The Wizard Knight, continuing directly from Able's training and early adventures in the first volume as he takes up the responsibilities and dangers of the knighthood he has sought. Now more fully immersed in the seven-tiered cosmos of giants, elves, gods, and men first introduced in The Knight, Able must navigate the shifting loyalties, feuds, and magical threats that come with his growing reputation, while the deeper mysteries of his transportation into this world and his true nature edge closer to being understood. The novel carries forward the blend of Norse mythology, Arthurian romance, and Christian allegory that defines the duology, following Able as the boy who became a knight faces the fuller consequences of the power and purpose he has assumed across the layered realms he now moves between.
