Synopsis
The five orphans have broken out of the school that held them and now live in the ordinary world, still hunted. Each of them draws on a different view of how the universe works, and each power comes from a different cosmos that cannot normally overlap with the others. As they try to master what they can do, they find themselves caught in a larger struggle between the forces of Order and Chaos, in which their former captors and the old gods of Greek myth all have a stake. Cut off from help and short of time, the group must decide how far they can trust one another and whether they can win their fight for survival.
