Overview

The Chronicles of Chaos is a fantasy trilogy by American author John C. Wright, published by Tor Books from 2005 to 2007. It follows five orphans raised at a strict, isolated boarding school who gradually find they are not human: they do not age, and each has a different supernatural power. Their story draws on Greek mythology and moves toward science fantasy as they are pulled into a war between Order and Chaos, narrated by the goddess Phaethusa. The three novels, Orphans of Chaos (2005), Fugitives of Chaos (2006) and Titans of Chaos (2007), are one continuous story, and the last is described as the climax of the trilogy.
