Synopsis
The Parsian army, rebuilt under Arslan and his commanders, marches to retake the capital, Ecbatana, from the Lusitanians. The two armies meet in the second battle of Atropatene, on the same plain where the kingdom was lost. Narsus plans the strategy, and Daryun and the Parsian marzbans lead the troops, while Lusitania commits all it has to hold the city. Arslan must also face questions about his own birth and about the sacred sword Luknabad, which many in Pars believe belongs to the true king. The first campaign of the war is reaching its decisive point.
