Synopsis
Turn Coat is the eleventh novel, set about eighteen months after Small Favor. It opens with the badly wounded Warden Morgan, one of Dresden's harshest critics within the White Council, arriving at his apartment seeking protection, having been framed for the murder of Senior Council member LaFortier. Sheltering Morgan pulls Dresden into open conflict with the Wardens sent to hunt him, and entangles his apprentice Molly Carpenter and Warden Anastasia Luccio in the fallout. While trying to clear Morgan's name, Dresden faces a shapeshifting naagloshii that abducts his brother Thomas, suspects White Court schemer Madeline Raith of engineering the frame-up, and crosses paths with the mercenary summoner Binder. Piecing together a conspiracy that reaches into the Council's highest levels, Dresden turns to allies among the White Council, the Raith vampires and the spirit of Demonreach Island to expose the truth.

Notes
- From the series record (The Dresden Files): 18-novel main sequence (2000-2026, ongoing), narrated throughout by wizard-detective Harry Dresden. Publication order equals in-story chronological order for the entire main sequence. Peace Talks and Battle Ground (both 2020) were originally written as a single novel that grew too long and was split into two by the publisher, released 2.5 months apart, a genuine bibliographic quirk, not a numbering error. A 19th novel (Mirror Mirror) is announced for 2027 but unpublished and is not registered.

Publication order and internal chronology are tracked as two separate orderings, but they resolve to the exact same sequence for this book, so one combined line is shown instead of two identical ones.
