Publication order and internal chronology are tracked as two separate orderings and are never conflated: a book's place in one says nothing about its place in the other.

  • Publication order, within the series House of Serpents: position 3 of 3: previous Viper's Kiss (2005)
  • Internal chronology, within Forgotten Realms: position 139 of 215: previous Windwalker (2003) · next Feathered Dragon (1991)
