Synopsis

Vengeance of the Iron Dwarf concludes the Companions Codex trilogy, picking up from the succession crisis of Rise of the King. The drow assassin Tiago Baenre presses his campaign against Drizzt Do'Urden and his companions, and the fallout from the earlier fighting in the Silver Marches escalates into open confrontation. Drizzt, Bruenor, and their reunited friends must contend with betrayal from within their own ranks as well as Tiago's relentless pursuit, drawing dragons and old rivalries into the widening conflict. As the trilogy heads toward its climax, the companions are forced onto multiple fronts at once, defending both their allies and themselves against enemies willing to use any means, including the region's great wyrms, to see Drizzt destroyed.
