Synopsis
Warlock of the Witch World continues the story of the Tregarth triplets after their flight into Escore, focusing on Kemoc as he grapples with the aftermath of the siblings' early struggles in this ancient, magic-soaked land. Escore's factions, drawn from forces of Light and Dark that have shaped the region for centuries, complicate the siblings' efforts to find safety and understand the deeper powers now stirring around them, including Kaththea's volatile magical gifts. Kemoc must navigate old rivalries and dangerous alliances within Escore while trying to protect his sister and brother, as the trio's arrival begins to unsettle a balance of power that has held, uneasily, since long before their birth. The novel deepens the series' move from Estcarp's political conflicts into Escore's older mythic struggle between opposing magics.
