Synopsis

Three Against the Witch World shifts focus to the next generation, following the triplet children of Simon Tregarth and Jaelithe: Kyllan, Kemoc, and Kaththea. When Estcarp's witches decide that Kaththea, who has inherited significant magical power, must be taken from her family to be trained and stripped of personal attachment in the traditional way of the witches, her brothers refuse to accept this fate for her. The three siblings flee Estcarp together, escaping into Escore, a neighboring land steeped in older and wilder magic than anything sanctioned in Estcarp, whose ancient conflicts and forgotten powers have been left largely undisturbed for generations. As they cross into this unfamiliar territory, the trio must rely on their combined and complementary gifts to survive dangers unlike any they faced at home, while grappling with the consequences of defying Estcarp's authority.
