Synopsis
After succeeding in lifting the ancient curse from the asirim, Çeda learns that Nalamae, the goddess who helped her achieve it, has died in a battle with one of her divine siblings. Believing Nalamae will be reborn somewhere in the world, Çeda sets out to find her before anyone else can, a search that leads back to Sharakhai, where other factions are hunting for the same reborn goddess. Caught between the deposed kings, the Thirteenth Tribe, and rival powers converging on the city, Çeda must decide whether to work with her former enemies or risk Sharakhai's destruction as neighboring kingdoms press their advantage and desert powers maneuver for control of a city no longer protected by its old order.
