Synopsis
Wild Sign is the sixth novel in the Alpha and Omega series. When every inhabitant of a small, isolated town in the Northern California mountains vanishes without a trace, leaving homes and belongings behind, the FBI turns to werewolves Charles and Anna to investigate what conventional authorities cannot explain. The pair travels into the remote wilderness surrounding the town, where the terrain itself seems to work against outsiders, and locals nearby are reluctant to speak about what happened. As Charles and Anna dig into the town's history, they find signs that something older and far more dangerous than a simple disappearance is responsible, a presence connected to the deep past of the land rather than to any ordinary supernatural threat they have faced before.
