Synopsis
The story begins about six months after Wolf's Blood. Blind Seer, who has run beside Firekeeper since she crossed the Iron Mountains, sets out with a blue-eyed wolf companion to find someone who can teach him to use his magic on his own terms. Their journey takes them across the world, with allies that include a war-scarred young woman, a falcon who believes he is a traitor and an old friend who may be an enemy. They fight battles that began before they were born, climb mountains and cross badlands, until they uncover a threat that changes what Blind Seer thinks he wants most. New readers are told they do not need the earlier books.
