Overview
The Firekeeper Saga is a fantasy series by American author Jane Lindskold. Six novels were published by Tor between 2001 and 2007, and two more followed from the author's own imprint, Obsidian Tiger Books, in 2019 and 2020. The central character is Firekeeper, a young woman raised by intelligent, magically gifted wolves who is sent back to the human kingdom of Hawk Haven, where she may be heir to the throne. With her wolf companion Blind Seer and her friend Derian Carter, she is drawn into court politics, struggles over ancient magic and a plague that targets magic users. The first six books form one continuous story; Wolf's Search and Wolf's Soul continue it, and the author calls them the final books for some time.
