Synopsis
Wolfhound: Emerald Mountains closes the series by sending its hero back to the underground mines where he was once enslaved as a child, this time by choice rather than compulsion. Alongside the unresolved rivalry with Vinitaar, the son of the Cannibal, the novel follows a subplot involving a devoted woman named Olenushka and another following a priest named Khonomer, whose journey brings its own kind of transformation. Returning to the site of his earliest suffering, Wolfhound is driven less by hope of surviving the mines again than by a sense of duty he feels bound to fulfill, closing the cycle that began with his childhood enslavement there.
