Synopsis
Wolfhound: Sign of the Way continues the hero's journey as he questions what purpose has kept him alive through the mines, duels, and hardships he has already survived. Working for a time as a martial arts instructor at a fortress, he is drawn toward a looming confrontation with Vinitaar, son of a rival known as the Cannibal, an accomplished warrior whom Wolfhound might otherwise have respected as an equal but whom the codes of blood-debt push toward enmity. More reflective in tone than the earlier novels, this installment spends much of its length on Wolfhound's daily life and travels rather than a single continuous adventure, leaving several plot threads to carry forward into the next book.
