Synopsis
The story continues directly from Bloodsucking Fiends. Jody has turned her boyfriend Tommy into a vampire, and the two are trying to build a life together in San Francisco. Familiar faces from the first book return, including Tommy's grocery store co-workers the Animals, the police detectives Rivera and Cavuto, the Emperor and the vampire who originally turned Jody. Much of the narrative comes from the diary of Abby Normal, a goth character from A Dirty Job who serves as a minion of Tommy and Jody.
