Overview
A Market of Dreams and Destiny is a historical fantasy novel by Trip Galey, published by Titan Books in 2023. It is set in nineteenth-century London and in the Untermarkt, a goblin market hidden beneath Covent Garden. Deri, raised among the market's merchants and bound to a Master Merchant by a childhood contract, tries to buy his freedom. He meets Owain, who is bound to a workhouse by contract, and a runaway princess who is trying to sell her royal destiny. The book is a single novel with no sequel announced. It was a finalist for the Mythopoeic Fantasy Award for Adult Literature in 2024.
