Overview
A complete four-novel sequence (2003–2006) set in a secondary world modeled on pre-dynastic Ancient Egypt. It follows a serf-turned-dragon-rider, later known as Kiron, across a war between two rival kingdoms, Tia and Alta, both of which deploy tame dragons and their riders as elite military assets, as he helps found an independent, dragon-riding faction free of either warring state's control.
