Overview
Memories of Idhún is a completed Spanish-language YA fantasy trilogy by Laura Gallego García, following two teenagers, Jack and Victoria, pulled into a war between dragons and their allies and the wizards and shict who conquered their world, on the world of Idhún, after they learn their own fates are tied to Idhún's exiled resistance. Published as La Resistencia (2004), Tríada (2005), and Panteón (2006), the trilogy moves between contemporary Earth and Idhún itself, blending portal-fantasy structure with an original secondary-world mythology built around Idhún's three moons and its conquered dragon and unicorn peoples. It became one of the best-selling Spanish-language YA fantasy series of its era, notable for its scale and ambition within the Spanish-language market specifically, and was later adapted into a Netflix animated series, Memoria de Idhún: La Resistencia (2020), which adapted the first novel.
