Overview
Tanaz Bhathena's Wrath of Ambar duology is a young-adult fantasy of love, sisterhood, vengeance and hope set in a world inspired by medieval India, exploring identity, class struggles and high-stakes romance. In the kingdom of Ambar, girls with a star-shaped birthmark have been disappearing for years, and Gul, who bears one, has spent her life running; dangerous circumstances bring her and Cavas together at the king's domain in Ambar Fort, a world with secrets deadlier than their own, and in the second book the two must unite their magical forces, and hold on to their growing romance, to save the kingdom from tyranny.
