Synopsis
The War of the Mage is over. Hedin and Rakot, the New Gods of the Ordered, are at the height of their power and hold the balance across a huge universe. Peace seems to have arrived at last: Hedin is happy with Sigrlinn, and the former combat mage Klara Hümmel raises four children with Sfayrat in a quiet far-off world. Then a vampire, An-Avagar, settles near their house and everything changes. Not yet aware of it, Hedin and Sigrlinn decide to visit the Ordered's main sources of magic, and from their first steps the pilgrimage takes an unexpected and worrying turn.
