Synopsis
Fate here means more than destiny: it is a movement full of magic and of someone's powerful will, which neither people nor time can resist. Under its influence the mage Veniamin Skorre hurries to the site of a bloody fight between old friends and the guuns. The sorceress Alisanda du Vargas meets a vampire hunter, his wounded apprentice and a famous alchemist. Together they must find the Megaliths of the Empire, an ancient artifact that may become a tool of the Prophecies of Destruction, and try to hold back a breakthrough of Chaos amid many dangers and schemes.
