Synopsis
For Matthew Swift, today is not like any other day. It is the day on which he returns to life, as a resurrected sorcerer and host to the blue electric angels of the electric wires. In a London where magic runs through streets, trains, rooftops and electrical lines, sorcerers are fighting for the soul of the city, and Matthew is drawn into a strange, fierce urban war. The first Matthew Swift novel, published by Orbit in 2009, which Mike Carey said brought London's magic to life electrifyingly and convincingly and RT Book Reviews compared to Neil Gaiman's Neverwhere.
