Synopsis
It is said that if the ravens ever leave the Tower of London, the Tower will crumble and the kingdom will fall. In the second Matthew Swift novel London's magical defences start failing one by one, and Matthew, the resurrected sorcerer who hosts the blue electric angels, takes on the role of the Midnight Mayor, the city's reluctant protector, as a far older and darker threat moves against London itself. Published by Orbit in 2010, a year after A Madness of Angels.
