Synopsis
In the tenth book of The Hollows series, Rachel Morgan is officially listed as dead and struggles with her new status as a witch-turned-demon, which leaves her largely mistrusted and without legal standing among Cincinnati's supernatural community. A charmed silver bracelet severs her connection to the demon collective but also blocks most of her magical abilities, leaving her nearly defenseless just as mutilated witch corpses begin appearing around the city. Rachel becomes a suspect in the killings because of her demon nature, even as she investigates a hate group called HAPA that is working to synthesize demon blood as a weapon against vampires, werewolves, witches, and every other kind of Inderlander.
