Synopsis
Hired to find a missing boy, Harper Connelly and her stepbrother Tolliver travel to Doraville, a small town in the mountains of North Carolina, only to learn that the boy is one of several teenagers who have vanished there over the past few years, none of them likely runaways. Harper soon finds them all, eight bodies buried in the half-frozen ground, and comes face to face with her first serial killer. Attacked and injured, and with the town’s long-hidden secrets beginning to surface, she learns more than she ever wanted to know about Doraville, knowledge that may make her the next one to end up in an ice-cold grave.
