Synopsis
Archangel Gaaron rules the angel holds of Samaria, and the oracles have chosen Susannah, a mortal woman, to be his Angelica and life-mate. Black-clad strangers begin appearing at random and destroying settlements. The planet's future is at stake, and Gaaron and Susannah must work out who the invaders are and how to stop them. Jovah, the god who watches over the angels, has secretly marked Susannah so that her dreams prepare her for the coming threat. The story is set before the events of Archangel and follows the two as they come to trust each other while the danger grows.
