Synopsis
Aru Shah and the Song of Death, the second novel in the Pandava Quintet, finds Aru Shah still adjusting to her new life as a reincarnated Pandava when a crisis erupts in the Otherworld: the god of love's enchanted bow and arrow have gone missing, and whoever stole them is using the weapons to turn ordinary people into empty, heartless fighters. Aru is accused of the theft herself, and with only a limited window to clear her name, she and her fellow Pandava Mini set out with their companions to track down the real culprit before more damage is done. Their search leads them into unfamiliar corners of the Otherworld, including realms tied to serpents and other mythic figures, forcing Aru to draw on what she has learned about her heritage while navigating new dangers and testing her growing friendships with her companions.
