Synopsis
Aru Shah and the Tree of Wishes, the third Pandava Quintet novel, opens with Aru Shah and her friends attempting to rescue two twins from danger, only to be drawn into a fight with a demon; afterward they meet the twins, Sheela and Nikita, who claim to be fellow Pandava reincarnations. Sheela delivers a prophecy warning of a hidden tree at the heart of a decoy treasure and of coming conflict between the devas and the asuras, prompting Aru's group to set out in search of the real Tree of Wishes before their enemies can find it first. As they travel, Aru and her companions, including Mini, Brynne, and Aiden, uncover unsettling new details about the Sleeper, the demon Aru unleashed in the first book and her own biological father, while trying to stay ahead of the war the prophecy foretells.
