Synopsis

The second volume returns to the intense world of romance, adventure and intrigue of the first and raises the stakes for the vampires of Arcana. A terrible event strikes the community: the Law of Silence, the rule that keeps the existence of Nocturnus hidden from humanity, has been broken, putting every vampire in danger. Daimon DelMoona, Janus, Andrew, Lília, Pandora and Ascelli are joined by three other vampires sent to Arcana to help find and punish those who dared defy the Law. But the newcomers keep secrets of their own, and as the investigation proceeds Daimon begins to suspect that the culprit may be standing right beside him. An adventure wrapped in mysteries and suspicions, in which the loyalties of the first book are tested and the quest to protect the secrecy of Nocturnus becomes a hunt for a traitor within.
