Synopsis

Blackveil sends Karigan G'ladheon into the corrupted heart of Blackveil Forest, where the dark sorcerer Mornhavon the Black was imprisoned centuries earlier, now that the magical barrier that once sealed him away has been breached. Accompanied by a small group of companions, Karigan must cross treacherous, magic-twisted terrain and face monstrous creatures native to the forest's interior, all in pursuit of ways to counter the growing threat Mornhavon poses to Sacoridia. Unknown to Karigan's party, descendants of Mornhavon's ancient empire have also entered the forest, hoping to use the chaos within Blackveil to help restore their fallen ancestor's power, setting rival groups on a collision course inside one of the most dangerous regions of the kingdom.

Notes

  • From the series record (Green Rider): The main numbered sequence; the author has stated there is no fixed final book count. A ninth novel is scheduled for 2027 and is not yet published, so not registered.

Publication order and internal chronology are tracked as two separate orderings and are never conflated: a book's place in one says nothing about its place in the other.
